There are many and a great variety of excellent restaurants in Madison. Here’ s a link to the dining guide.
A few great restaurants that we’ve discovered are:
Ha Long Bay, 1353 Williamson St. Madison 608-255-2868. (Willy Street neighborhood) This is probably our favorite restaurant in Madison. A huge menu of Asian food from many regions. Everything we have tried here is GREAT! They were featured on the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods (but their food is NOT bizarre). It’s amazing!
The Tornado Steak House has fabulous steaks, great retro bar and wonderful service. It’s a throw back to the great supper clubs from the past.
The Bayou New Orleans Style Tavern is also a unique dining experience. We like to eat upstairs where you’ll feell like you’re overlooking the French Quarter from a balcony. The wall murals are amazing and you’ll be able to watch the stars come with the ceiling light display.
The Old Fashioned supper club is an amazing place full of atmosphere, great food and drink (no reservations-get there early).
Naples 15: The owner/chef is from Naples, Italy and is a character. Food is fantastic! Atmosphere is great.
Lombardino’s : 2500 University Ave. Madison 608-238-1922. Great Italian food! We love their Bolognese sauce.
