Deerfield Dining

Nora’s Tavern:  1843 US Highway 12 & 18.  I’ve had one of the best omelets EVER at this tavern/breakfast place.  Sounds crazy, I know.  I’m sure their bloody mary’s are good too :).

Deerfield Coffeehouse: 50 N Main Street. This coffeehouse opened in 2019 and is bright and airy and is spurring a revival of downtown Deerfield.  Great coffee and vibes.

Lake Mills Dining

Some of our favorites is El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant .  We like to stop at the Tyranena Brewing Company before dinner.

Madison Dining

There are many and a great variety of excellent restaurants in Madison.  Here’ s a link to the dining guide.

A few great restaurants that we’ve discovered are:

Ha Long Bay, 1353 Williamson St. Madison 608-255-2868.  (Willy Street neighborhood) This is probably our favorite restaurant in Madison.  A huge menu of Asian food from many regions.  Everything we have tried here is GREAT! They were featured on the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods (but their food is NOT bizarre).  It’s amazing!

The Tornado Steak House has fabulous steaks, great retro bar and wonderful service. It’s a throw back to the great supper clubs from the past.

The Old Fashioned supper club is an amazing place full of atmosphere, great food and drink (no reservations-get there early).

Lombardino’s :  2500 University Ave. Madison 608-238-1922.  Great Italian food! We love their Bolognese sauce.

Tavernakaya: 27 E Main St. Madison.  Awesome sushi, great atmosphere, downtown location!
