MAY-OCT Cambridge Historic School Museum Tour. Built in 1906 & listed on the WI Register of Historic Places – it is a beautifully maintained historic building filled with interesting, educational, and nostalgic displays detailing the local history of Cambridge, Wisconsin. MAY 3-4: Cambridge Spring Garage Sale Days. Shop our community-wide garage sales – you never know what treasures you’ll find! Maps available online one week prior at www.cambridgewi.com and at the Cambridge Chamber office (102 W. Main St, Cambridge).
MAY 4-5: The Clay Collective Spring Pottery Tour. The members of the Clay Collective and 17 guest potters will open their studios to the public for a free self-guided driving tour. The studios are all within a short distance of each other, nestled in picturesque Eastern Dane and Western Jefferson Counties (only 45 minutes west of Milwaukee, 30 minutes southeast of Madison and two hours north of Chicago). theclaycollective.org

MAY 25: Lake Ripley Park Opening Day. The gates of Ripley Park will open at 9 am on Saturday, marking yet another wonderful summer in Cambridge, Wis. Located on the west shores of Lake Ripley, Ripley Park is an 18 acre park. Lake Ripley Park N4310 Park Rd.
MAY 27: Cambridge Memorial Day Parade & Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast. Memorial Day starts with the annual Firemen’s all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Fire Station, with the annual parade down Main Street at 10:30am followed by a Memorial service downtown in Veteran’s Park after the parade.
JUNE 2: Battle of Camrock. Mountain biking competition. The trail system at CamRock is an awesome blend of wide and fast flowing single-track that runs through open fields of prairie grass, wooded single-track with bermed turns and more technical singletrack with a touch of roots and rocks. The Battle of CamRock will be fun and challenging for all levels, Citizen to Elite, with fun single-track, great downhill, feed zones and, of course, the sprint to the finish. WORS.org

JULY 27-28: Midwest Fire Fest. The hottest event in the Midwest! Midwest Fire Fest is a celebration of all things created with fire, heat, and smoke including clay, metal arts, welding, forging, hot glass, food, and performance. There is an on-site firing and reveal of a giant clay sculpture, Community Iron Pour, Fire Dancers, Saturday Night’s Fire Feast, and smoking hot music all weekend. The Cambridge Lake Ripley Ride features four distances: a family friendly 18 mile (mostly flat) route, a longer and slightly hilly 40 mile route, and a more challenging 62 mile metric century route.
